Some help on the simple white theme

Hi
I'm using JEM for a membership site, with the simple white theme and want to make some customizations:
1) remove the big shopping cart image, logo and vertical bar from the header where the logo goes
2) remove the "cart items" from the top menu (on the very top right of the page)
3) replace the "Buy Now" button message in the store with a "Sign-Up Now"
4) change the color of headings from light blue to a darker blue
5) move the store description to the header area where the big cart is now located and give it a blue color, with a larger font

Please provide instructions on how to change this.


Also, I'm having some bugs with JEM content creation, I don't know if this is the right place to report them, since they may not be template related, but here goes:
1)Using Firefox 3 the Product description is left empty, only the first pane of fckeditor appears and the "Description" and "Characterisctics" panes don't allow to save the content. Only editing with IE7 solves this
2) If a product, after being edited with IE7, and having written and saved all the descriptions, it's opened in FF3 in the backend, the descriptions are lost.
3) The content created for the homepage is replicated in the store homepage and there seems to be no option for not allowing that

you will have to edit the header templates directly if you want to remove those items.

the templates for the header for the simple white theme are in /themes/main/simple_white/custom_templates/

as far as the product description, are you referring to the 3 description areas in the product details page? we just tested that it works fine in FF3

1.&2. To change these element you'll have to go to the custom templates folder and edit the php files.
3.To change the 'buy now button' in the admin section of JEM click on settings then edit the language file.
4. To change the teal color to dark blue youll have to edit the color settings in line 482, 579, and 1897 in the style.css file.
5. You can move the store description in  line 375 also in the style.css file.

If we abolish the big arcade barrow image, logo and vertical bar from the attack area the logo goes and abolish the "cart items" from the top card (on the actual top appropriate of the page.
